Katie Brenneman

Katie serves as Benchmark’s Controller, where she keeps a close eye on the financial side of the business and helps make sure we’re making thoughtful, informed decisions. From budgeting and forecasting to reporting and improving processes, Katie works alongside leaders across Benchmark to support the company’s financial health. She also leads the Accounting Team, helping develop the people and processes that keep everything running smoothly

Katie has built her career around a love of learning, problem-solving, and finding better ways to get things done. She joined Benchmark in 2012 as an Accountant and grew into roles as Cost Accounting Manager and now Controller. Katie is a CPA and holds degrees in Accounting and Marketing from Millersville University, along with a master’s degree in Accounting from Liberty University. Outside of her career in accounting, she also served 20 years in the United States Air Force as a Technical Sergeant and musician with the ANG Band of the Northeast, bringing a pretty unique perspective and range of experience to the Benchmark team.
